Colour
Peach pink or salmon pink with visible gold iridescence.

Formulation

It's slightly thin, but it applies extremely smoothly, evenly and is opaque in two coats. All Chanel nail products are formaldehyde-free, toluene-free and DBP-free.

Packaging
The nail varnish is packaged in a square-shaped (with curved corners) glass bottle. The top black lacquer cap with the Chanel interlocked double C's at the top in white is purely for aesthetic purposes only. Although, I do like to rest my finger on this while applying the nail varnish. ;) You can pull this cap off to reveal the actual round nail varnish bottle cap (ribbed for better grip to open and close securely) that also serves as the brush applicator handle.

It comes with a relatively thin brush applicator that's easy to use and allows for more precise application.

On The Nails...
Applied against olive tan skin tone (~NC30). Application was in two coats. Photographs were taken indoors using a strobe.

Longevity

I've only worn this for 2 days, but it's already starting to show very minor, even tip wear, so I suspect this won't be as long lasting as most Chanel nail polishes are (e.g., up to a week). Will wait to see for sure...

Bottom Line
'Starlet' is a soft, pretty shade to wear to transition between seasons, such as just at the beginning of autumn when you're not quite ready to leave summer behind just yet(!), but without being too summery bright; or closer to the end of winter when you're revving up for the warmer months of spring. :) It's also classy and very office-friendly colour that's a step up from your nude shades.
