♥ DIY: Pore Strips

Hello everyone! This is my first time to do a diy. I have so many ideas on diy like the ombre shorts but I was afraid that I will fail and doesn't like the outcome. Lol! So, this diy is about how to do homemade pore strips. I have seen a video by Michelle Phan how to make a pore strips but it needs microwave oven to make it and we do not have that kind of appliances. So, I was discouraged to make it. Then, one day, my classmate told me that she tried it without using microwave and it works she said. So, I tried it also. And yeah, it really worked. No machines needed. Lol!

So, all you need to have is an unflavored gelatin. There are a lot of unflavored gelatins available at the supermarket but I think it will work properly if you use the brand Knox. I haven't tried other brands but if you want to save then, you can have an alternative brand for it as long as it is unflavored. This is what I used.

Okay! So let us go now to the steps.

Step 1: Boil a cup of water. When it gets hot, place the part of your face where you want to put the pore strip onto the steam or the smoke of the hot water. In that way, your pores will open so it would be easy to get the white and blackheads.

Step 2: On a small plate, pour an enough amount of the gelatin and warm water. Mix them properly. Feel the mixture if it's watery or sticky. If it's still watery, pour again an enough amount of gelatin. If it's sticky, then you can place it already to where you want to place it.

Step 3: After you place the gelatin, put a tissue on top of it to make it easy to remove. Put it like this:

please excuse my oily skin >.<
Step 4: Wait for at least 30 min for it to absorb all the white and blackheads and also the oils in your skin if you have oily skin like mine.

Step 5: When it is already dry, remove now the tissue carefully. Then be amazed of the white and blackheads on the tissue. I was also amazed when I first did it. xD

So, that's it. I hope you learned something through this post. And I'm sorry for my english. >.< Thank you very much for viewing. :)

Lots of ♥, Judy
