Colours and Finish
I purchased 5 of the 6 shades released for the summer collection.
All of these have the typical Chanel micro-shimmers that add that gorgeous, sophisticated twinkle to the eyes. ;) Just beware of the shimmer fall-out though - you'll need to apply with care and perhaps before you apply makeup on the rest of your face, so you can remove any excess.
Moon River (07)
A brass (golden brown). A lovely neutral that really pops with all that Chanel twinkle. It probably has the most shimmer in it out of the lot to the point it almost looks like a metallic foil. This will sure to be popular.

Pink Lagoon (27)
A warm pink. When applied on its own, this one appears more subtle than all the others against my medium, olive, NC30 skin tone. This shade of pink doesn't make me look ill or make my eyes look swollen. On the contrary, it brightens and lifts the eyes. It's the most wearable of them all for just a simple, everyday (even work) wear with just a hint of colour if you just apply on the lid and on its own. If you want to make 'Pink Lagoon' and it's shimmers pop, you need to pair it with a contrasting shade like a matte deep brown on the outer corners of the eyes. This is also a great way to transition to the evening.

Jade Shore (37)
A pale jade green that's great for wearing a pop of fun colour in summer. Note, if you look at the comparison swatches below, you'll find this is a very different green when compared to Chanel Illusion D'Ombre in 'Rivière' (#87) - a very pale, mint green; and the more khaki green 'Epatant' (#84).
Blue Ray (47)
A sky blue that's also another pretty one for summer. I do prefer this one a little more over 'Jade Shore' for summer, because it stands out a bit more, is a fantastic contrast against my deep brown eyes, and well...it's blue! Hehe... ;) However, it is a similar colour to Chanel's Illusion D'Ombre in 'Destination', but the latter is a little lighter and cooler toned (see swatches below).

Chanel's Illusion D'Ombre in 'Mirifique' has plenty more of that metallic-like effect shimmery goodness in it compared to 'Black Stream' - see the comparison swatches down below. I love to wear 'Black Stream' all over just the eye lids and blending out the edges with my finger tips. Classy and simple!

Texture
Creamy enough to apply as an eye shadow and blend easily before it sets. The Stylo Eyeshadow also glides on super smoothly to make lining the eyes a breeze. I think it's perfect.
Application
All of these are super easy to use! Just swipe it across the lid and dab, dab, dab lightly with the finger tip to blend out any edges. For me, it gives a decent colour pay off in a single swipe, so you won't be using up the entre product so quickly. It also means that these Stylo Eyeshadows really make life fuss-free and easy to touch up later if needed. If you use them as an eye liner, it's fairly easy enough by just using the outer edges of the thick pencil tip to line the eyes with. The cream product does indeed have a cooling effect on the eyes when you apply it. ;)
Longevity
These last all day on my eye lids that are neither oily or dry.
Packaging
Convenient pencil form that you can carry in your pocket. You can easily dispense more product by twisting the pencil up, so no sharpening needed and therefore, no product wastage.

Overall
Luckily, despite purchasing sight-unseen, I can say I love ALL the colours I've selected and would definitely be getting a lot of wear out of each one. If you're a neutral lover, then you can't go wrong with 'Moon River' and especially 'Black Stream' as it is more versatile as an eye liner and eyeshadow. Don't overlook 'Pink Lagoon' though - worth a try in store, because it's a lot more wearable than you may think for everyday wear, and is something that doesn't scream colour. If you love colour then have fun choosing your fave colour out of 'Blue Ray' or 'Jade Shore' - particularly one that will intensify the natural colour of your eyes. ;)
