Seriously I had never tried a luxury bath foam. I just got a 21% discount at Ici Paris XL and decided I may as well use it for some highly important stuff like this. It's actually not that expensive, like 15 euros, but still, considering most store bath foams are around 3 to 4 euros, it's still a luxury, and I took a bet hoping to find something even better than your average bath foam.
The main reason why I bought it was the beautiful bottle, though. It will always look good next to the bath, so I won't be throwing it away anytime soon. I wonder though why it's not sold in glass bottles. So many things are sold in glass, but not this? While it will last for months in my bathroom?
Anyway, a few of the ingredients are very promising, like lavender, tangerine and ceder. I was hoping it wouldn't smell too strong, like the horrible "natural" bath foam I got with "ylang ylang" and "iris" a few years ago. That was from a "natural online drugstore" though, completely different.
When I smelled this bath foam, I wasn't blown away by strong essential oils. On the contrary, this was the freshest thing I had ever smelled in my life. Like I was blown back to my childhood. How can I describe it? You know that feeling when you go on a sunny holiday, and you wake up very early to be the first in the outdoor pool? The pool smells super clean, but it's a bit chilly. You jump straight in it and start playing, and the water and the sun, the trees, all smell so clean and divine. A little soapy, but also natural. After playing for hours you are super clean from the pool and starving for popsicles. You're healthy, happy, lean and have a ton of energy. That feeling! I didn't know they could bottle that!
Needless to say that with this fragrance, I was more than happy to dive into this bath and feel like I'm a child in the morning pool again. It was reenergizing, literally and figuratively! The scent almost made me nostalgic for those days in the South of France when I just didn't have a worry. The bath foam works just like any other bath foam, just poor some underneath the running water and enjoy.
The bottle is around half a liter and will last a while if you don't use too much.
